<Royal Decree No.711, exemption of Corporate Income Tax>
Royal Decree No.711 provides companies an additional deduction 50% of expenditure incurred in the form of salary under an employment contract for highly skilled employees hired in the STEM fields. The deduction is capped at THB 100,000 per month for salary paid between 1 January 2019 and 31 December 2020.
highly skilled employee
- certified as highly skilled in one of the STEM fields
- commences work under an employment contract between 1 January 2019 and 31 December 2020
- was not an employee of a company in the STEM field for a period of one year before the commencement of work under an employment contract as above.
